Dumbbell Nebula on a summer night

Here's the first processed shot from my new telescope, a Meade 115 APO Series 6000 triplet. Total exposure time was 24 minutes and 10 seconds at ISO 1250 using a Canon 60D. Mount was an Atlas EQ-G controlled by (EQMod/ASCOM). Stacked with DeepSkyStacker (9 darks, 25 lights). Enjoy!

I keep expecting to see the Rocinante scream through this photo, firing PDC rounds like it's Christmas, or something ... (PDCs are turreted rotary autocannons, utilizing a set of six spinning barrels to spew out thousands of rounds per minute to intercept incoming... A point defense cannon (PDC) is a rapid-fire projectile weapon used by all military-grade spaceships for defense against small ships and missiles.)

Nice shot Jim, very crisp. Will you eventually go with a guided scope?
